Mercury vs. Sun
This impressive Mercury image from the Transition Region and Coronal Explorer (TRACE) satellite shows the Sun in ultraviolet wavlengths on November 8, 2006, as Mercury’s disk began to transit the Sun (Credit: NASA / TRACE).
